Progress Container & Display, New ICPF Partner, Pledges $50,000
Progress Container & Display has become a new ICPF corporate partner by pledging $50,000 to support the foundation's educational mission.
"Almost five years ago we recruited a new University of Florida packaging engineer graduate through ICPF, and Katherine continues to be a rising star" said Jim Johnson, Jr, President of Progress Container & Display, in making the pledge. "We plan to continue using ICPF's successful career portal in the future and are pleased to become a corporate partner in support of ICPF's work with colleges and universities across the country. My wife and I additionally are looking forward to joining other ICPF supporters at ICPF's Holiday Weekend in New York annual fundraiser this December."
ICPF Board Chair, Steve Landaal (President of Landaal Packaging Systems), welcomed Progress Container & Display as a new ICPF corporate partner, thanking Jim for the company's pledge. Founded during 1971 in Lilburn, Georgia, Progress Container originally became an innovator in the industry by being one of the first companies to have an in-house structural design department. Its new Winder, GA facility opened in 2000, offering state-of-the-art graphics and design capabilities, the most modern equipment and expanded warehouse space.
