New York, NY… The International Corrugated Packaging Foundation (ICPF) has announced that Brian and Liz Buckley (Brian Thomas Packaging and Display), will serve as Co-Chairs of the 2008 ICPF Holiday Weekend in New York fundraiser.

In its second year, the New York event was designed as an annual fundraiser where executives and their spouses can support the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation while socializing, networking and enjoying the best of New York City during the holiday season!  

Brian and Liz invite ICPF CorrAlliance & PaceSetter Partners, other ICPF supporters and their spouses to gather for ICPF's Holiday Weekend in New York on December 12 & 13, 2008. This year's participants will begin with a Friday evening reception hosted by Anthony Pratt and Mike Harwood in Mr. Pratt's home at the Sherry-Netherland overlooking Central Park. A sold out matinee performance of the Tony Award winning, Best Musical of the Year Jersey Boys, and a reception and four course dinner at the world renowned Fresco by Scotto restaurant are scheduled for Saturday. (A favorite of Kathy Lee Gifford, the restaurant's famous family of Italian chefs appears regularly on NBC's Today Show and on other national TV programs.)  Free time on Friday, Saturday morning and Sunday will allow for a Friday dinner with spouses and clients, leisurely brunches, holiday shopping, site seeing and museums.   

In addition to participating in the event, Liz and Brian are asking industry executives to invite clients, potential ICPF CorrAlliance Partners and Pacesetter Suppliers, and to consider rewarding additional key employees from their companies with this special weekend holiday function. “We found the ICPF event to be an exceptional opportunity last year, both for socializing within the industry and enjoying the unique New York City holiday events.  We encourage both corrugated manufacturers and suppliers, and their spouses, to come and support ICPF on December 12 & 13.  Once you join us, you will want to return annually for each ICPF Holiday Weekend in New York."  

Event registration is $2,750.00 per participant (accompanying spouse is included free of charge), with the majority of the proceeds supporting ICPF's mission to generate a stream of qualified students to enter the corrugated packaging and display industry. 

Pratt Industries, Inc. and The Bobst Group, North America will serve as sponsors at this year's event. Additional sponsorship opportunities currently are available, including the hosting of Saturday's reception in the name of the sponsoring company. 

The Westin New York at Times Square is ICPF's host hotel. Hotel rooms are in demand during this special time of the season, so executives are encouraged to make their reservation through ICPF as soon as possible.
